Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy applies to psg.nuslawclub.com (the “Website”) and governs collecting, processing and using data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) of Singapore. The information we collect from you is the information that you actively provide us with. This includes your name, gender, year of study, NUS student matriculation number, your preferred contact information and other information which you provide us with on the Website.

The information collected from you will be used for these following purposes:

- To verify your identity as an NUS Law student

- To contact you

- To assign you a PSS

- To inform the PSS on how they can contact you

- To comply with the applicable law in Singapore, including, but not limited to the common law, local statutes, and local constitution.

- Any other purpose with your consent.


Non-disclosure

PSG will not sell, rent, lease or release any of your personal information to third parties. Some of your personal information will be made known to your assigned PSS for the purposes of contacting you. However, they will not be permitted to release that information to any third parties.


Disclosure of personal information

PSG will disclose or share your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in good faith that any such action is necessary to: (1) comply with legal requirements or comply with legal processes served on PSG or (2) in emergencies, where the release of information to relevant professionals is necessary for the saving of life and limb.


Data Protection Officer

The designated data protection officer is Yangyang, the Co-director of PSG.

The roles and responsibilities of the data protection officer include:

- Ensuring compliance with the PDPA when handling and developing processes involving personal data

- Managing data protection related inquiries and complaints

- Alerting relevant personnel if there are any risks that might arise with regards to the personal data

PSG may occasionally update our privacy policy to reflect changes in protocol. PSG encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to be informed of how PSG is protecting your information.
